When you print your return there are two types of vouchers that are available.
- 1040-V - This is a voucher that represents the amount of tax that you owe for this tax year. You would attach this to your payment if you were going to mail it to the IRS.
- There are four form 1040-ES's. These forms are used to mail Estimated Taxes for the upcoming year to the IRS.
To calculate estimated taxes that you've already paid:
- Start at Deductions & Credits
- Scroll down to Estimates and other taxes
- Select Estimated Tax Payments
- There is a list here of various Estimated taxes that you may have paid.
- Select Federal estimated taxes for 2020 (Form 1040ES)
- Did you pay federal estimated taxes for 2020? - Yes
