Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Do you plan to efile?

If so, when you go through the screens in the FILE section, after paying and choosing a refund method (if applicable), you'll eventually come to a screen that asks you to verify your return by entering the 2019 AGI (most commonly);  some people might be able to use the 2019 Self-Select PIN in the PIN field as an alternative.

You will also likely have a screen that may be called Signature ID that will ask for a 5-digit Self-Select PIN (and it will say to use any 5 digits of your choice.)  If you saved your Self-Select PIN from last year, you can use it again, or you can make up a new one.  That screen also has you enter today's date and your birthdate.

Those things in combination should electronically "sign" your return.

At some point you'll also encounter a screen to indicate "I am not a robot."

Be sure you go all the way to the final screen and click a big orange button "Transmit My Returns Now."

I see you are using Live Basic.   Have you scheduled the included tax expert review of your return, if desired?  We can tell you how.

Live Basic is essentially the Free Edition product, upgraded for a fee to include live tax expert help and review.   It is a paid product in which you are paying extra for live help from a CPA/EA tax expert during return preparation and a final review of your return prior to filing.  The current price of Live Basic is $80 for a Federal return and $45 for a state return.   If you choose to pay those fees out of your Federal refund, there is an additional $40 service fee ($45 for California filers.)

If you ended up in Live Basic by mistake and don't want it,  and haven't used any of the Live features, we can tell you how to remove it and downgrade to regular Free Edition.
