if you two are married, then you need to file JOINT. you are asked how much stimulus you TWO have received and anything additional you are owed will appear on Line 30 of Form 1040 that will increase your refund/ decrease what you owe.
if you are single, same procedure but file single as normal.
for the 3rd stimulus that will come separately and if it does not arrive, it will be reconciled on your 2021 tax return next year and refunded at that time.
