My e-file returns were rejected, because IRS could not confirm last year's Federal AGI, asking me to correct the number. The number provided initially by me is, in fact, correct, according to MY records. I filed by mail last year and because of the pandemic, it took the IRS close to a year to process. I received a nominal amount of interest on my refund.
Having been rejected this year in my effort to E-file this year, I intend now to file by mail this year again. However,
- The printed forms are showing an e-file postmark. Why, and should I remove that information before mailing?
- You charged me $25.00 plus tax to E-file my State return. Will you refund this charge, please?
