It is doubtful that your personal tax return would be held up because the S corporation return had not been processed. My experience with this is that the IRS does not match up your personal tax return with the corporate return until months after your personal return is processed. I know this because I have had personal returns adjusted months after being filed and processed because of erroneous information listed on them that pertained to a corporate return that was filed before the personal return.
