Sorry, but so far I don't understand your situation. In 3 quick comments you have mentioned a "5-digit code", an "IP PIN" (which is a 6-digit Identity Protection PIN), and an EIN (Employer ID Number). Those are all vastly different things. What are you doing, and what exactly do you think you need, and why?
Do you have a self-employed business or independent contracting work and want to apply for an EIN to use for your business's tax ID number instead of using your SSN?
