Get your taxes done using TurboTax
continuation of my question posted above:
Explanation:
I am an Uber & Lyft driver.
For my Tax 2020 I received the following three forms online:
- Form 1099-NEC from Lyft
- Form 2020 Summary from Lyft
- Form 2020 Summary from Uber
On TurboTax, I have entered $1160 (from Box 1 of my “Form 1099-NEC”, from LYFT) as my year 2020 non-employee compensation and I have, also, added a line and entered the rest of my income ($10,963 from Lyft + Uber) as my “Other self-employed income”.
I have no choice but to show both of the above incomes on my TurboTax. But (as you see in the TurboTax WARNING message above) TurboTax will not proceed with my e-filing without having me remove one of the above two figures.
So, what should I do?
Thanks much!
