I figured out that if we are married filing jointly, and we both have stock in Computershare, I have to show the income as a one-line total of both of our incomes. Once I did that, it worked. What made me realize to do that was both reading your reply, and realizing that the income is one line only on the return. Thanks for your help and your quick reply for a newbie!
