I see that on line 30 I did claim the $600, so that answers that question! As for the $1400, I filed before this was issued, but still have not received it. Is there a way to amend this return once I mail it off to put that number in, or will I get this payment a year from now?
The IRS has a statement on their web site that the round 3 payments will be sent on a rolling basis as 2020 tax returns are processed. This will be separate from your claimed refund.
The third round of Economic Impact Payments are being sent in phases. The IRS started sending the first batch of payments with an official payment date of March 17. If you haven’t received one yet, it doesn’t mean you won’t.
We’ll send the third payments each week to eligible individuals as we continue to process tax returns. Payments are sent by direct deposit or mail as a check or debit card.
