Delete the tax returns as follows:
In TurboTax Online:
- Down the left side the screen, click on State.
- In the center of the screen, click on Your State Returns
- Under Status of your state returns, are you able to see the state tax returns?
- You should be able to click Edit to enter the state tax return, or
- Click Delete to delete the state tax return.
In TurboTax Desktop:
- With your return open in TurboTax, switch to Forms mode by clicking the Forms icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
- From the File menu in the upper left corner, choose Remove State Return. (This won't delete your state program, just the state tax return.)
- Select the return you want to delete and click Remove. Answer Yes to confirm.
