I am curious of I am going to be receiving a stimulus check this year or how that will work out due to my filing situation.
In the 2019 Taxes my Father claimed me as dependent, and received the extra money that came with the dependency claim, meaning I did not receive the first stimulus check. For 2020 Taxes, I am now independent and filed my 2020 taxes already as such, but my father is out of the financial threshold to receive a stimulus check.
I was thinking that this would possibly get me in a weird grey area of if I am eligible to receive a stimulus check. I was within the threshold with my income to potentially receive a full $1400 but am unsure if due to my previous year status, that would complicate anything.
