If we are married filing jointly, and both of us have dividends with Computershare, why will TurboTax only accept one or the other, not both?

I put in my husband's info, ask to add another 1099DIV, it takes my info, then my husband's info disappears.  I've tried three times now. Is it because IRS adds them together?
