You do not report your son's income on your return.

 

You can claim him as a dependent.

 

As his income reported on form W-2 is less than the standard deduction of $12,400, he is not required to file a tax return. Also as he has no Federal tax withheld and very little state taxes withheld, it is not worth filing a state return to receive less than $2 refund.
