Can I file taxes as married? I got married in 2020 but my wife is abroad and her I130 is pending in USCIS. She don't have SSN or any other documents. I have a GreenCard.
I got married in my country in 2020. My wife lives and works there. She has never been to USA. Her case for I130 is pending in USCIS for one year. She does not have SSN-ID or any other document.
When I try to file my taxes using Turbo Tax, It asks for a Social Security number.
So my question is, Can I file as married in this situation ? OR need I file as single until arrives in United States and she has a social security?
