It is possible. If you worked for a company up until the end of 2019 there may have been some additional income or contributions that had to be accounted for.
If you did not get a W-2, but TurboTax is asking you for information on a W-2 from a prior year. It is because we wanted to be sure you didn't miss anything, so we carried it forward.
You can simply delete the form.
Go to:
- Income & Expenses
- Job (W-2)
- Review your W-2 info
- Identify the W-2 you want to delete
- Click the Trash Can on the right side of the screen
- Confirm the deletion.
