If you are not actually legally married then that is tax fraud - a Federal Felony.
Also, Head of Household REQUIRES that the dependent be *related* by blood or marriage (son in law,etc) - that would also be tax fraud.
You can only mail file and your BF can expect a letter form the IRS. He needs to AMEND BEFORE the May 17 due date and change his filing status to single or he could be in deep trouble.
