My federal refund is $1,199. I paid for TurboTax services in the amount of $270, and had that deducted from my refund. I only received $300. What happened?

Santa Barbara group ate most of my federal return paying for TurboTax, but I can’t find the accounting anywhere. How do I find out why so much of my return is missing?
