Get your taxes done using TurboTax

For those who are having the same problem with this company: I filed a complaint against Intuit with Better Business Bureau (BBB) and received their response from the Intiuit's office of the president, which is below,

_______

You logged into TurboTax Online and completed your federal and state tax returns and then entered your credit card information to complete perpetration and moved on to the efile or print screen.  TurboTax requires you to enter credit card information each time you use the software and will not remember your previous entries.  Your then logged off of the TurboTax Online Site and logged into the IRS website and efiled your return from the IRS Free File site.

Had you called us before you entered and paid with your credit card or stopped using the TurboTax Online without entering your credit card information this would have been fine.  However your entered your Credit Card information to the non-refundable product and approved the charges.  Therefore the charges are valid. and we will not be refunding.  The IRS Free File Alliance managed by TurboTax software found on the IRS website does not have a place or the ability to enter credit card information.

You can reach me at (phone#: number removed) Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM Arizona time or at [email address removed]. If I am unavailable, one of my colleagues will be available to assist you. Thank you again for reaching out.

Respectfully,

Carol

In summary I am fooled and money is gone:

1- entering your credit card information on TurboTax website means you immediately approve the charges

2- TurboTax Online product is excluded from 60-day money back guarantee, even though request page clearly has Online product as an option. Intuit policies are designed to lock your money in.

You can reach the presidents office through the above phone number (520-nine-zero-one-3280) or this email: [email address removed].

My final response to them is below:

Any respectable business should be able to refund an unsatisfied customer's money in any case, period! Saying that the online TurboTax product is out of the 60-day money-back guarantee is equivalently nonsense like a cheap shop denying your refund request by telling you that the money-safe is locked and they cant get your money out of it.

Just entering my card details on your website should not mean that I have approved the payment.

Intuit is well known with their hideous tactics for long time: https://www.propublica.org/article/turbotax-just-tricked-you-into-paying-to-file-your-taxes

Never ever will pay you for my tax preps and will surely delete my Credit Karma account soon!
