Why does turbo tax insist that the withholding agent's SSN box must be blank on a California 592-B?
I'm trying to E-File and it won't let me past this "review".
There absolutely needs to be a SSN/ITIN number there. I've tried it with and without the dash after the first two digits.
It says "Form 592-B (Trustee Name): W/H agent SSN should be blank.
If you hit continue is says:
Form 592-B (Trustee Name): W/H agent SSN is not in a valid range for State Electronic Filing. The social security number (SSN), individual taxpayer identification number (ITIN) or adopted taxpayer identification number (ATIN) must be in a valid range and all digits must be numeric.
