To change dependent information on your return please follow these steps:
TurboTax Online
- Sign back into your return.
- Click on My Info in the black bar on the left of your screen.
- Continue to the screen Do you have children or support another person?
- Click the Yes radio button and click Continue
- If you have already entered information, click on the Edit icon (the pencil) in the section you want to review.
TurboTax CD/Download
- Click the Personal Info tab and then click Continue.
- On the Personal Info Summary, click the Edit box in the Dependents section.
- Continue through the screens, entering or changing the information.
