I sent a non-employee a 1099-NEC thru the turbo tax web site. It was accepted by the IRS. It was wrong. How do I correct and where do i send the correction to?
Do I send a paper 1099-MISC with the correction box checked and proper amount in box 1? Where do i send this 1099-MISC to?
