Talk live

When you talk live to a tax expert, you'll have a one-way video call at a time that’s convenient for you. You'll see them in TurboTax, but they won't see you.

You can share your screen with your tax expert and go over a part of your return together. Your tax expert will make sure you have no unanswered questions and are ready to file with confidence once your review is complete.

You can also have a tax expert review every line of your return, make sure everything is correct, and file for you. To do this, you'll need to upload your documents and it may take up to a week. Your tax expert can tell you more about this during your review.

Get a written response

When you request a written response, you'll select an area of your taxes that you'd like a tax expert to look over. We'll ask you to enter your questions and concerns about that topic, which your tax expert will address in their response.

Within 24 hours you'll get an email letting you know your written response is waiting for you once you sign in to TurboTax. You can look at your response as often as you need until you file. (After you access your written response the first time, it will be accessible through the floating Live help button in the bottom right corner of your screen.)
