Make sure you have a valid for work SSN number entered for the baby and make sure you have indicated that the baby lived with you the whole year. If you indicate a partial year, you won't qualify for the tax credits. A child born at any point during the tax year is assumed to have lived with you the entire year. This is true even if the child was born on 12/31. If you continue having issues, delete the dependent and re-add them. @ambersmith1219 And congrats on the new addition!
