It depends on whose name is on the accounts. Per the IRS, you can only direct your refund to your own checking or savings account; you cannot direct your refund to someone else's account (except for your spouse's account, if it is a joint refund).

 

If your children's names are on the account, then you can use the same account for both returns. Otherwise, the refund might get rejected by the financial institution, which will cause a delay in processing.
