Yes, you have to report all income on your tax return. Generally, a 1099-MISC will not be issued unless you receive a payment of $600 or greater per tax year.
Please follow the instructions below to report this income:
- Open or continue your return, if you're not already in it.
- Click on Federal on the left hand side.
- Click on Show more of Less Common Income.
- Click Start on Miscellaneous Income.
- Click Start on Other Reportable Income.
- Answer Yes for the question Any Other Taxable Income?
- Enter information on the page titled Other Taxable Income.
- Click Continue.
