Bless you, blueman2. The error is on form 1116 WorkSheet, Part II, first column, first row. Turbotax transcribes the date as "various" (I guess because it's accrued throughout the year); the IRS computer will NOT accept this. I deleted "various" and substituted "12/31/2020"; I had to do this 3 times before the program accepted it. The instructions say it should be in the format mm/dd/yy, but I couldn't make 12/31/20 work. Anyway, "12/31/2020" was accepted!!
