J.P. Morgan 1099-B import incomplete

I see there have been several issues with importing from J.P. Morgan/Chase, but I have not seen this one.

The 1099-B import seems to go well, but then every one of the 172 transactions requires additional manual input to specify a sale category (short term covered, long term uncovered, etc.).  The transactions in Turbotax are not in any particular order that I can find, with funds, dates and sales types in a random mix, which means searching through ten pages of my paper 1099-B to find the matching transaction to determine the sale category.  Then I need to click through three more screens to skip "less common" categories in order to repeat the whole process for the next transaction.  I tried deleting the form and re-importing with no change.

I did not have this problem last year so I am very surprised to encounter this problem. I downloaded Turbotax Premier specifically to deal with this one 1099-B and avoid this kind of error prone manual data entry but now I find that it only does half the job.

Anyone else having this problem, or have a better solution?
