Part year NY return and TX address works well. You may want to say TX resident for now since TX has no state tax. The program is just confused, like I was. You want the forms to be correct. If you want the TX address on your forms, go with TX.
The interest can be prorated. The dividends can be verified based on how often they are paid or you can just prorate them as well. Good luck!
