Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Wrt having been charged for a faulty product, I feel we have a few recourses, all of which require hassle (which is a moot point since everything related to this issue has been a hassle already). File on paper and ask Intuit for a partial refund. I plan to do this for the state portion since the value there is the efile, not the two pages of return it fills out.

Use another tax software instead of TurboTax and ask for a full refund. In either case, if Intuit refuses the refund, you can go to the bank and ask for a chargeback since the product was not delivered as promised. The ability to efile is advertised as an integral part of and benefit of the product.
