Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Because I am using an online version of the software, and not from a CD, the software is not identical to what you are using on a CD. My options to add this homeowners insurance premiums under expenses are as follows:
- "Real estate taxes"
- "Insurance premiums" <-- this is what's not working
- "Mortgage interest"
- "Management fees"
- "Miscellaneous expenses"
- "Other taxes"
- "Repairs"
- "Cleaning/Maintenance"
- "Mortgage insurance"
- "Utilities"
- "Supplies"
- "Vehicle"
- "Professional and legal fees"
- "Advertising"
- "Commissions"
- "Travel (not auto)"
- "Other interest"
- "Prior year nondeductible expenses"
- "Indirect operating expenses"
Pretty sure the only place a homeowners insurance premium belongs is under "Insurance premiums" but that's where the bug is. Do you suggest I put it somewhere else from that list?
