If you installed on Windows PC, but need to also install on a MAC in your same household,
- BUT your MAcbook lacks a CD drive,
- AND you cannot downloads due to the same issue as the title of this thread,
You can:
- Call TT support to get a new key issued for the download. Some have been successful, but it appears others have not. Expect l-o-o-n-g hold times as we approach tax deadlines.
- Or make a copy of the CD. But making a simple copy of the CD via your Windows PC to load onto a USB or file sharing site (like Google drive or OneDrive) does not work if you have a MAC. It only copies the Windows based files, not the Mac based files. You have to create an iso image of the CD. I used a free utility called ImgBurn. It was an easy thing to do. We now have TT on both PC and a MAC.
