I have this exact same problem. TurboTax is supposed to help me prepare my return. The replies to this post skirt the issue. HOW DO I Handle this 1099r?
- The value in box 2a is "UNKNOWN"
- There is no box 2b on my form CSF1099R
How does Turbotax expect me to handle this?
- Should the value in box 2a be the same as the value in box 1?
- Should I leave 2a blank and check box 2b (since 2a says unknown)
- If I do that what do I do with the screens it causes me to see
