Get your taxes done using TurboTax

I would think you would want to communicate with the Canadian folks most likely familiar with your product. Things are likely to get confusing in a USA forum.
I can give you a few tips below, but after that, you are likely best served over in the Canada TurboTax community forum and TurboTax Canada Customer Support.
Be sure your TurboTax program is installed on your system's hard drive and not installed on a removable external or thumb drive.
Also be sure the *.tax2020 data file is on your hard drive; i.e., be sure that you are not accessing and working on the tax file while the file is on a removable external or thumb drive.
I'm a fellow user, and the things I would tell a fellow USA user with the USA product would be to first try downloading and installing a manual update of the TurboTax program, and after that, if still needed, a repair of TurboTax. And if still needed after those things, to try an uninstall/reinstall, or to phone TurboTax Support for realtime help.
I don't know if or where you can get a manual update to the Canada product. You'll have to ask in the Canadian community forum if there is a manual update. Or look at the Canadian Support FAQs on the TurboTax Canada website to see if it has a manual update. Or contact Canada TurboTax Customer Support to inquire.
As for a repair of TurboTax, here's how it's done in the USA product. I don't know anything about the Canadian TurboTax product or whether this works with it, so your mileage may vary.
TIP: If I were you, while you are trying to resolve your issue, I'd make a backup copy of the *.tax2020 data file and store it somewhere safe such as a thumb drive or other external storage, just in case something goes wrong.
