I'm just adding another voice to this discussion, to confirm that this is broken for me as well.
Here is the message I received today:
The 1099 import service for Merrill Lynch is currently unavailable. Please try your import again on February 26, 2021 at 5:15AM PT.
- Try getting this form another time.
- Already have this tax info? You can enter it by hand
I've been getting this the past couple days, with errors of other phrasing prior to that. My guess is it will eventually be fixed, but I certainly won't be getting the early bird filing discount.
I may give this another few days, but I'm not overly thrilled at the idea of typing all my info in by hand (there is a fair amount). Maybe this is the year I will finally break down and go search for a good tax prep professional, and say goodbye to TurboTax.
