When you are done completing your return and are ready to e-file, Turbo Tax will let you know if you need to print and mail your return in. If you can e-file, that is the method that is most recommended, Turbo Tax will assist you in that and let you know when it was successfully accepted by the IRs and/or your state.
If the program did not indicate that you had to mail in your return, then you can e-file it.
