While filing a state tax form do you have to sign the 1040 that goes along with the state tax forms? I filed federal electronically and have to mail in State tax.

Yes, when you mail the returns make sure to sign and date the 1040 and the state return.

Both fed and state were e-filed. Are the fed forms part of the package e-filed to the state?
