As you know, we in the Community cannot see your private tax data, however, this does not sound right.
First, do a Search (upper right) for 1099-div and click on the jump-to link (Mac users must find 1099-DIV in the Topics List).
This should bring you to a table of 1099-DIV entries (you may need to say that you received a 1099-DIV). Look at any entries that are titled "T Rowe Balanced Fund". It's possible that you created two, but filled in only one (it's easier to do than you think).
If you have found a duplicate or a blank one, then delete it using the Delete button or the trash can icon.
Alternatively, look at lines 3a and 3b on the 1040, and do a reality check - do the numbers here add up to the dividends that you meant to enter? If so, then your entries are likely correct.
