Get your taxes done using TurboTax
The 'Experts' keep dodging the direct question:
Is this inability to eFile when a return contains form 7202 because the IRS does not allow the form to be eFiled, or because of a shortcoming in the TurboTax software?
It is a simple question. Re-posting the company's talking point about this is not the same as answering the above question. I guest the refusal to answer IS the answer.
Also, the IRS recommends AGAINST filing a return by printing/mailing. The IRS recommends e-Filing. So, the Intuit / TurboTax position is that we must go against IRS recommendations -- simply because Intuit cannot (or will not) come up with a solution to allow returns to be eFiled if they contain form 7202.
It CAN be done -- because other companies are doing it with their tax software.
Get your act together Intuit.
