If you have been instructed that you need to use an IP PIN, you can get one by following the directions at the IRS link below:

You can update the IP PIN information in TurboTax by following the steps below
- Federal tab
- Other Tax Situations
- Scroll down to Other Return Info.
- Choose Yes, I did under the Identity Protection PIN question and Start (or Revisit.)
- The next screen asks: "Did you or any of your dependents get an IP PIN from the IRS for this year's taxes?"
- Select Yes and then add your required information
