Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Normally a combined 1099 packet from your investment company will have sections for 1099-INT(Interest), 1099-DIV(Dividends), and 1099B(Capital Gains/Loss).  The line numbers on the combined 1099 sections should correlate to the 1099 boxes in TurboTax.  So in the Search box at the top of the screen, type in each of the form types one at a time then you will see a "Jump To" function that will take you to that form to add and complete.  I would suggest typing it yourself but you do have the option to import your information from your investment firm.

Now if you are using TurboTax Desktop, you will need to go to the Personal Income section and enter the information for the 1099-INT and 1099-Div under the Interest and Dividends sub section then the Investment Income section for the 1099-B.  You will need to add the form then have the option to import from your investment firm or typing it yourself.
