Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Same issue as what was described in the above comment. Spoke with Turbo Tax and the IRS, and each has admitted that they have had numerous phone calls regarding this issue, but neither has a solution nor a foreseeable correction, other than the "file by mail" option. I had to make a correction by mail last year for my 2019 return, in March, which elongated the process of my return to February of 2021. After receiving my return in the form of a check, I viewed my 2019 Transcript on the IRS website to verify that my 2019 AGI matched with what I filed with Turbo Tax, which it does. I corrected and resubmitted my 2020 return over 10 times, using different AGI's (2018, $0, 2019 Wages without additional income, 2019 AGI again, different 5 digit identification code -- which isn't related to older returns as it isn't a SelF Select PIN) in hopes that I could have it accepted via e-file, all of which resulted in the same rejection code IND-031-04. I then gave up on Turbo Tax and filed with TaxAct to see if it would go through via a different program and... again, rejection code IND-031-04. WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN HERE, because the IRS RECOMMENDS E-FILING over paper filing as they know the circumstances, is that Turbo Tax NEEDS TO SPEAK WITH THE IRS to correct whatever barrier is holding up THEIR CLIENTS E-FILE return... many of us having paid $$$ to prepare our returns, making there lack of support unacceptable...  please don't fall back on "mail it in..." I mean, what if I held up your paycheck for over a year? Would that be acceptable? NO, there would be a lawsuit!!!
