According to a person at the IRS, the stimulus payment should NOT increase the amount of tax owed. The payment does not show up anywhere on the 1040 form ! She believes it is an issue with Turbo Tax, however I have been unsuccessful in getting any assistance from Intuit/Turbo-Tax.
