There was a special federal sick leave that the federal government required- The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act) requires certain employers to provide employees with paid sick leave or expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. It was paid directly from the employer who gets a credit from the government for it.
Look on your W2 and if you see in Box "sick leave wages subject to the $511 per day limit;” or “sick leave wages subject to the $200 per day limit.” it was already included with your W2 information.
