Get your taxes done using TurboTax
- 1099-NEC error that had never come up during my filing... Some people say delete that 1099-NEC and re-enter your info. Also try entering an erroneous number somewhere in your TurboTax return. Sometimes that resets TurboTax from the spouse's 1099 glitch and TurboTax tells you to fix the error you intentionally created. Fix the new error. Then e-file.
- Also for some users after they already e-filed and the IRS rejects a tax return for a glitch/reject code, an intentional error can sometimes be a wrong PIN or wrong Previous Year AGI to reset that reject code/glitch. Enter erroneous number, then E-file. IRS rejects the return for the new error. The previous reject code disappears. Fix the new reject code. E-file again. IRS accepts the return.
