As it happens, my employer is indeed a partner and I've done the imports in previous years without a hitch. Moreover, my employer provides step by step information on importing W2 to Turbotax, which I've followed to the letter. It just doesn't make sense and I'm still hoping I can avoid having to manually enter the figures.
