I am old enough now to receive a modest Canadian retirement benefit - which is direct-deposited into my Canadian bank checking account. I received a "1099-style" income slip from the Canadian Government. Do I list this as retirement income for my US filing? Am I allowed to convert this amount to US currency equivalent?
