Turbo Tax is correct.
Stimulus checks are for tax year 2020. IRS only had 2019 tax year when these two checks went out. As you are no longer a dependent on your 2020 tax return filing, you are entitled to these checks now if your AGI is below $75,000. Enjoy your windfall.
