The rule states that if you were claimed as a dependent on someone else’s 2019 tax return, you are not eligible to receive a stimulus check. In my 2020 tax return no one can claim me as a dependent. TurboTax says that I am qualified for the stimulus check and that I will receive a credit of $1800, which is not true based on the above rule. I do not want to efile my taxes when I know that it is not correct. How do I fix that problem on the system?
