I agree, when I spoke to the TurboTax rep 2 weeks ago they could not even tell me why this issue was occurring, only advised me to wait to weeks until 2/12 the date returns would be accepted to see if the efile option for NYS returns would be available on TurboTax software, obviously it wasn’t. That caused me to delay mailing my return to NYS. Terrible customer service and software instruction on this issue. I asked for a partial refund and was told the payment is the IRS fees which really didn’t make sense to me. So there was no refund and no efile option. I’ll be driving to a mailbox today, so frustrating.
