Get your taxes done using TurboTax
It's fairly straightforward. Instead of sending you individual 1099-series documents, your financial institution or other payer has simply combined multiple forms into one document, and you'll need to input each type of income individually.
In TurboTax Online,
- Click the Wages & Income dropdown, then the Review/Edit button.
- On the Let's get the details on what you told us earlier… page, you'll see categories for Interest and Dividends and Investment Income.
- Click the Show More dropdown on each to see what categories are available, then click Start or Revisit to enter the relevant type of income reported on your composite form.
Alternately, you can enter (for instance) 1099-int in the Search box, then click Jump to 1099-int to take you directly to that income type. Repeat for each income type on the composite -- for example, 1099-div, 1099-b, etc.
